Six drills a winning team must complete during practice to become a
championship team
Although soccer is a team sport, it doesn't mean that the whole team should train together and do the same conditioning sessions.
Different players have different levels of fitness and different requirements dependant upon their position.
These requirements can be determined using the following fitness tests developed to concentrate on required areas. These fitness
tests have been taken from the most advanced evaluation systems the US Soccer team has come up with.
The program comes from Kansas City Rugby Morning Work-outs Conditioning Program.
It's a three-times-a-week workout and matches up well with Soccer Requirements.

Drills For Increasing Soccer Speed

There are many ways of warming a team up and most coaches have their favorites.
I think it is good to use a routine that players get used to, not only does this mean that they get on with it quickly as they know what to do,
but it helps to mentally prepare them for a practice or a game.
Warmup Examples
These sessions are used during the season, once base training has been completed.
The sessions are either aerobic or anaerobic and depending upon your requirements and position,
your coach may require you to concentrate on one type over another.
